Born in a family of musicians,Vidwan Shri.Kolanka Sai Kumar is son of Sangeet Natak Academy awardee Mridanga Vidhwan Shri Kolanka Laxman Rao & Smt. Rajeswari.He learnt Violin from Vidwan Shri. Peri Sree Rama Murthy garu.He is a 'B' High graded violinist of All IndiaRadio and Doordarshan.Sai Kumar is working as a commercial inspector with Indian Railways.He is a seasoned artist in the classical music circuit performing along with stalwarts as well as upcoming artists for the last 3 decades.He has toured all over India extensively and received many awards.He has performed in more than 40 countries.
